☁️ iCloud Sync
  1. Personal Cashflow automatically syncs across all your iPhones and iPads signed in to the same Apple ID.

  3. A small cloud icon appears in the navigation bar while syncing; it stays hidden when sync is idle and healthy.
  4. You may briefly see two copies of new data on the receiving device while sync settles — this resolves automatically within a few seconds.
  5. Updates from another device appear when you open or return to the app. Live updates while the app is in the foreground are limited by Apple's CloudKit framework.
  6. If sync gets stuck, the cloud icon turns red. Tap it to see details and access recovery options.
  7. Reset Cloud Sync (Settings → Sync → Reset Cloud Sync): saves a snapshot of your data, then clears local sync state so iCloud can re-upload everything fresh. Your data is not lost.
  8. Reset Cloud Sync also helps if you ever see duplicate accounts or transactions that won't merge — restore from your latest backup after the reset and the second device will pick up the cleaned state.
  9. Multi-device sharing across different Apple IDs (e.g., spouse) is not yet available; planned for a future release.
